United Baltic Sails was founded around 30 years ago. It entered into a joint venture with BRYT-Sails, a modern sail maker from Gdansk, Poland to make new sails.

Together we grew fast and built a really good reputation amongst owners of modern and classic yachts as well as amongst professional sailing and tall ships inland and abroad.

Under the label “United Baltic Bryt Sails” we serve a great variety of customers with focus on personal contact and service.

Route SS: From searching to sailing

Please hand us as much information as possible about your ship, the sailing area and your requirements as well as, if possible, the sail surface when requesting an offer.

We will send you a quotation based upon your information by mail.

After acceptance of the quotation, we will take together with you the necessary measurements on board your ship, or alternatively you can bring your used sails to our sail loft.

Then the design drafts are made and hence the sail area is established.

Based upon these area’s, we will provide a fixed price and confirm the finishing details before production.

At the same time you will receive the invoice for a 40% down-payment.

When the sails are ready we will inform you in time and send you the final invoice.

Depending on our agreement you can pick up the sails yourself in Medemblik or we can send them to you.

Hoist the sails …. And cast off!

Warranty: Despite the fact that we work with great care it may happen that a problem arises. Mostly this can only be noticed during the first times of actual sailing. In such an event we will of course endeavour to find a solution. With normal and judicious use, we offer a warranty of two season on our sails and materials.

Advertisement: United Baltic Sails hardly advertises. Therefore, you won’t find us in glossy magazines. The only exception is the journal “Spiegel der Zeilvaart”, a journal focused on traditional sailing ships: our roots. Increasingly, our customers find us via the internet however, predominantly by word-of-mouth. We stand for what we do. A no-nonsense business with individual attention to every customer. You are always welcome in Medemblik (ring or mail in advance) to have a chat and get acquainted.
